Dear Gabby,

I am an SSBBW and single. I am on a few dating sites and looking for a relationship. I get alot of responses on these sites but most are overweight men and I just am not attracted to overweight men. But I feel that maybe I am being shallow and because of MY size I should meet them and see what they are like. Just like I would want others to see me as I am and not just my size. Am I being hypocritical?

Gabby's Response:

No, you're not being hypocritical and don't ever apologize for being you. If you are not attracted to overweight guys then accept that. It's ok. If you want to meet them, then go ahead. Who knows maybe they will become a real good friend or maybe there would be some sparks. We are all attracted to different types so don't sweat it.

I hope you find someone who loves you for both the inside and the out.
