Welcome to Maklyn!
Maklyn is Canada's newest source for super-sized fashion. We specialize in sizes that are beyond size 26. Our philosophy is that women should be able to feel good about the way they look, and that fashion should be comfortable to wear. Everyone deserves to feel good, look great!
Maklyn was launched at the BBW Bash in Las Vegas in July, and then showed at the NAAFA convention in Washington at the beginning of August.
To begin our story, we are offering fashion basics with a return of the BBW line of hosiery to the Canadian marketplace. We currently have two shades available, in sizes 5x-8x. As well, we have available knee highs, again in two colours, in sizes 3x and 4x. We are excited about this line being in Canada again, and are sure that you will be as well!
You will also see our brief line, made under the Maklyn brand. Finally, briefs that fit, and stay put. These briefs are available in essential cotton/lycra, and well as a very pretty lace. When we showed these briefs at the conferences in Vegas and Washington, everyone commented on how soft the lace was in these briefs...not crunchy, stiff or itchy. You should treat yourself!
We hope you like the start of what will bloom into a fuller line as we grow. Oh, and speaking of blooming...we've taken a different approach to sizing around here. At Maklyn, no size numbers. We have four sizes, and they are named after every woman's favourite gift: flowers. Lily, Tulip, Dahlia, and Magnolia are the names, and you will see the measurements that correspond with each one with each item.

Maklyn - Feel Good, Look Great
We are currently recruiting for an Fashion/Beauty Editor. If you love shopping for clothes, buying/using beauty products, etc. and have a few hours a month to spare this could be a great position for you. Our Fashion editor would provide content on a monthly basis for the Fashion section of the magazine, including but not exclusive to clothing, ssbbw friendly stores, beauty products/services, etc.
