SSBBW / FA Quote of the Moment

"We are people, just like you. We have heart, a soul, feelings. We see past the crap that many people take for granted, because we look deep within to find the value. We can be the best of friends, passionate and dedicated mates, most understanding but tough bosses. Take a second to talk to us, and get to know us. You will probably like us." ~ Nikki [SSBBW]

January 2011 our FA was Eric, a 26 year old from New Hampshire

SSBBW Magazine: How long have you been an FA?

FA: Since I was about 17, about my senior year of high school.

SSBBW Magazine: Have you always been open with family/friends about being attracted to large women or did you try to hide it?

FA: I’ve never been open or closed about it with my family because the subject’s never been very important to them. My family’s beliefs have always been that as long as there’s a genuine connection between two people then there’s no reason to be ashamed of it.

SSBBW Magazine: What attracts you to SSBBWs?

FA: What attracts me the most is their embrace of life and the desire to be happy over everything else. They’re happy with not buying into the myth that only skinny people can succeed in life and that’s beyond sexy. They’re also 1,000% all natural unlike those overly slim girls who spend money on cosmetic surgery to have water balloons shoved under their chest or to have Botox injected into their faces. The flesh jiggles and droops but all I see is more to be able to hold and embrace to the fullest. I love them because I don’t have to worry about breaking them in half because their waists are as weak as dry pine twigs. And to be perfectly honest, I love how soft and cuddly an SSBBW’s body is.

SSBBW Magazine: What is your ideal woman?

FA: My ideal woman is a woman who’s not only comfortable with being an SSBBW but who’s also proud to be an SSBBW even to the point of flaunting what she’s got. She’s a woman who won’t judge me if I decide to take seconds or even thirds at a meal and who doesn’t feel she needs to count calories when enjoying a meal herself. She’s a woman who I can show to the world and proudly say is all mine and if the world can’t find the decency to accept her then that just means there’s more for me.

SSBBW Magazine: What are the joys of being with an ssbbw?

FA: Being able to enjoy the same foods, being able to stay home and enjoy a good movie and each other’s company, and knowing we were crazy about one another regardless of how everyone saw us.

SSBBW Magazine: What are the drawbacks?

FA: To be honest, none. The only drawback is from what others might see about her and that’s their problem, not mine.

SSBBW Magazine: If your woman wanted to have weight loss surgery would you support her? Stay with her?

FA: It depends on the reason. If she needed to have it done for health reasons, I’d support her. If it was to lose just enough weight that she’d be able to perform certain tasks without difficulty, I’d support her. If it was because she didn’t feel good about how she looked, I’d feel she was too self-judgmental and convince her she didn’t need it. If she wouldn’t believe me, it would show a lack of trust and I wouldn’t feel comfortable about being around her.

SSBBW Magazine: If your woman was unable to leave the house or needed constant care and help because of her size, would you be there for her?

FA: Of course I would. It would be worth the work just to be able to cuddle up with her afterwards.

SSBBW Magazine: Is there such a thing too big?

FA: I personally don’t think so. I figure the bigger a woman is just means there’s more of her to love.

SSBBW Magazine: What would you like to say to all the SSBBWs reading this?

FA: Live life to the fullest and enjoy who and what you are. Go out and show the world how proud you are of being an SSBBW, flaunt what you’ve got and don’t let anyone tell you you’re second rate compared to them.

SSBBW Magazine: What would you like to say to all the FAs reading this?

FA: It feels good to love big girls, doesn’t it? I couldn’t be prouder to be an FA and I hope you feel the same way. Keep at it, don’t be embarrassed, and be completely honest with them too. Saying that they have good personalities is good – and they do too – but also compliment them on their bodies and how they affect you.

SSBBW Magazine: What would you like to say to those just reading this out of curiosity about the SSBBW / FA community?

FA: We’re here and we’re not going anywhere, so embrace the lifestyle or get lost.

SSBBW Magazine: Thank you Eric.
